All three BRAVO! shows in January (Imago Theatre, Tangoheart and BRAVO! Kids'
Magician Louie Foxx) have outreach and promotional materials distributed, including
press releases and calendar notices. Sales for all three are strong.
Ms. Patrick reported the final revenue for FY2005 came in slightly under FY2004.
However, the reduced revenue is not an accurate comparison of ticket sales between
the two fiscal years. In FY2004 there were (15) BRAVO! presentations and only (12)
presentations in FY2005.
VI. Summer Event Planning: Shades of Summer, Outdoor Cinema, Auburn Idol
Ms. Rose reported booking of the concert series is proceeding very well with almost
half of the performance dates confirmed. Entertainment for the 4th of July Festival is
also proceeding well. Auburn Idol will be included again this year, with auditions held
during the Auburn Downtown Association's (ADA) annual Sidewalk Sale and the
finalists' contest the last concert of the summer.
Ms. Patrick reported four of the concert dates will feature an Outdoor Cinema
presentation sponsored by Auburn Regional Medical Center with a fifth cinema
presented by Com cast. One of the concerUcinema events will be presented at Sunset
Park (with additional funding from Pierce County) and another as part of Good 01'
Days festival downtown. The other three will be presented at Game Farm Park's
volleyball playfield.
VII. Arts Day 2006: February 14
The annual, state-wide Arts Day trip to Olympia is scheduled for February 14. Staff
