concert/movie events and for the Kids' Wednesday events. The Sunset
Park event went very well and the Jazz on the Commons had a larger
audience than in years before.
. Auburn Idol auditions had 26 adults and children sign up to be considered
for the finalists' concert later this week (August 18). Despite the heat,
many people attended the auditions. Seven adults were selected to
compete and three children for the title of Auburn Idol and Auburn Idol Jr.
The Auburn Reporter published a cover-feature article about Auburn Idol
auditions on its Aug. 2nd publication.
