The meeting of the Auburn Hearing Examiner was held on January 17, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers
of the Auburn City Hall. Those in attendance were as follows:

Ms. VanDerbeek called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. explaining the order of procedures arid~wOre }i~3taff and
those in the audience intending on testifying.
PUBLIC HEARING:
1. APPLICATION NO. CUP00-0006
Assistant Planning Director Rued presented the staff report. Auburn Business Park has requested a
conditional use permit to allow the sale of used automobiles within a building located at 3530 "C" Street
NE. The zoning is M-2, Heavy Industrial, which allows automobile sales ifa conditional use permit is
obtained. All vehicles for sale will be kept within the building. Staff is recommending approval with two
conditions.
Applicant said all cars for sale are kept in the building. He does wholesale business now and wanted to
provide retail sales also.
Hearing Examiner indicated that she will approve the conditional use permit, and will issue the written
decision within 10 days.
ADJOURNMENT:
With no further items to come before the Hearing Examiner, the meeting was adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
