Section 2. That in case any bid shall be accepted by the City of
Auburn. before such acceptance shall become effective, a vvri'tte lease

sale contrClct shall Le prepared, sub ject to'iapproval by the Gi t;,7 Council,
and signed by the lessor, and, if approved by the I..;i ty QClU;lCil shall be
signed by the llayor and City Clerk on behalf of said city.
Section 3. That in case any :!rit.ten lease sale shall be prepared,
approved, and filed as provided in Section 2 hereof the City 0 f Auburn
may, whenever its City Council sl-:;all deem the same advisable, from tiue
to time make payments from funds available for that purpose upon the
purchase price of the fire engine described in such written lease sale
contract.
