HomeMy WebLinkAbout2209ORDINANCE NO..,.~.~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION I OF ORDINANCE NO. 2128 OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, SAiD ORDINANCE A/AENDED BEING AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO AND PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTI~ยข OF A CERTAIN ALLEY SITUATE WITHIN THE 'CORPORATE LIMITs OF THE CITY OF AUBURN. WHEREAS, the City of Auburn, by Ordinance No. 2128 adopted on September 18, 1967, vacated a portion of a certain alley situate within the corporate limits of the City of Auburn; and, WHEREAS, the legal description contained in said Ordinance of the property ~acated was incorrect and invariance with the true description of the property,~'~ontained on the petlfion for vacatlon submitted and should therefore be corrected at fhjs f~me fo conform to the description of the property actually vacated by action of the City Council pursuant to said Ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN~ WASHINGTOn, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section I~ That Section I of Ordinance No. 2128 of the Ordinances of the City of Auburn be amended, so that, as amended said Section sha~l read as follows: "Section lo That the following described portion of an elley situate between 24th and 26th Streets N.E. East of "l" Street N.Eo~ within the corporate limits of the City of Auburn~ more particularly described as follows: Beg. at a pt on the E In of Lot I~ BIk 2, Maplewood Addn~ fo Auburn~ sd pt being 20~ S of the NE cot of Lot l; th S alg the E In fo a pt 12~ N of the SE cot of Lot 16~ BIk 2, MapJewood Addn. fo Auburn; th E pll with the S In of aforesaid BIk 2 I0~; th N pll with the E in of aforesaid BIk 2 608~; th W to the POB; Situate in the City of Auburn, County of King~ State of Wash. be and the same is hereby vacated, and the property lying in said: portion of the alley described hereinabove~ shall be returned and belong to the abutting property owners, ARNOLD GALLI, WILLIAM NOBLE, ~RS. BLAINE NOBLE~ and DALE DAWSON~ of said ;' portion of an alley situate between 24th and 26th Streets N.E. East of "1" Street ~,. N.E., subject fo easements reserved herein fo the City of Auburn for all public utilities." .Section 2~ That this ordinance shall take effect five (5) days from and after its~'~ passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
