HomeMy WebLinkAbout4502 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 ORDZ~CB NO. 4 5 0 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON AMENDING AUBURN CITY CODE SECTIONS 12.08.040, 12.16.130, 12.20.060, 12.24.070, 12.32.050, 12.36.100, 12.40.010, 12.44.040, 13.04.490, 13.16.130, 13.20.530, 13.32.080, 13.48.470, 15.04.080, 15.10.050, 15.48.150, 15.48.170, 15.52.090, 15.56.090, 15.68.090, AND 15.74.060(F) TO INSTITUTE THE ENFORCEMENT PROCEDURES AND CIVIL PENALTIES CONTAINED IN AUBURN CITY CODE CHAPTER 1.25 AS ESTABLISHED BY ORDINANCE NO. 4460. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn finds that certain violations of the Auburn City Code that are currently established as criminal violations can be more appropriately punished by the imposition of civil penalties; and WHEREAS, the amendments to the various sections of the Auburn City as delineated below are necessary in order to implement the Civil Penalties Ordinance No. 4460. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Seotion 1. In addition all activity on the property shall stop until such time that a permit has been issued and there shall be no issuance of any other permit or approval until such time that a clearing permit has been approved. Beotion 22. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implementment such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation. Section 23. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five days from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
