AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5371 WHICH AUTHORIZED
THE EXECUTION OF A PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT FOR TAX
PARCEL # 132104-9109, OWNED BY ANT, LLC, TO PROVIDE AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Auburn City Council adopted Ordinance No. 5371, on
May 1, 2000, authorizing the execution of a Purchase and Sale Agreement
between ANT LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, and the City of Auburn,
for property located between S. Division Street and "A" Street SE and north of
the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railways Stampede Pass Line; and
WHEREAS, absent a stated effective date, an ordinance becomes
effective according to state law; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to amend Ordinance No. 5371 to include an
effective date to avoid any confusion regarding the effective date of said
Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Purl3ose. Ordinance No. 5371, adopted May 1, 2000,
athorizing the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Auburn to execute a Purchase
and Sale Agreement for Tax Parcel #132104-9109, owned by ANT, LLC, and
located between S. Division Street and "A" Street SE and north of the

Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad Stampede Pass Line, is amended to
include the following added section:
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five days from and after its passage, approval, and
publication as provided by law.
Section2. Implementation. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out
the directives of this legislation.
Section 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five days from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided
by law.
