AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, RELATING TO
MUNICIPAL FINANCE, REENACTING ORDINANCE NOS. 5220, 5224, 5261,
5272, 5260, 5291, 5292, 5293, 5294, 5299, 5302, 5305, 5308, 5314, 5360,
5361, and 5369.
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn operates public facilities and provides
numerous goods and services within its boundaries; and
WHEREAS, the goods and services that the City provides are vital to the
health, safety and welfare of the community; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that it is in the best interests of the
public to reenact certain ordinances relating to municipal finance (and all of the
rates, charges, taxes, or fees adopted therein) to help ensure that City revenue
sources continue to be viable, despite the passage of Initiative 722.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
1.1 ORDINANCE NO. 5220 is hereby reenacted, approved and
confirmed, as are the fees and charges adopted therein.
1.2 ORDINANCE NO. 5224 is hereby reenacted, approved and
confirmed, as are the fees and fines adopted therein.

1.3 ORDINANCE NO. 5261 is hereby reenacted approved and
confirmed as are the fees adopted therein.
1.4 ORDINANCE NO. 5272 is hereby reenacted, approved and
confirmed as are the charges adopted therein.
1.5 ORDINANCE NO. 5280 is hereby reenacted approved and
confirmed as are the taxes adopted therein.
1.6 ORDINANCE NO. 5291 is hereby reenacted approved and
confirmed as are the rates and charges adopted therein.
1.7 ORDINANCE NO. 5292 is hereby reenacted approved and
confirmed as are the fees adopted therein.
1.8 ORDINANCE NO. 5293 is hereby reenacted approved and
confirmed as are the rates and charges adopted therein.
1.9 ORDINANCE NO. 5294 is hereby reenacted approved and
confirmed as are the fees adopted therein.
1.10 ORDINANCE NO. 5299 is hereby reenacted approved and
confirmed as are the taxes levied therein.
1.11 ORDINANCE NO. 5302 is hereby reenacted approved and
confirmed as are the fees, rates and charges adopted therein.
1.12 ORDINANCE NO. 5305 is hereby reenacted, approved and
confirmed as are the fees and charges adopted therein.

1.13 ORDINANCE NO. 5308 is hereby reenacted, approved and
confirmed, as are the fees and charges adopted therein.
1.14 ORDINANCE NO. 5314 is hereby reenacted, approved and
confirmed, as are the fees and charges adopted therein.
1.15 ORDINANCE NO. 5360 is hereby reenacted, approved and
confirmed, as are the rates and charges adopted therein.
1.16 ORDINANCE NO. 5361 is hereby reenacted, approved and
confirmed, as are the rates adopted therein.
1.17 ORDINANCE NO. 5369 is hereby reenacted, approved and
confirmed, as are the charges adopted therein.
Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are declared to be separate
and severable. The invalidity of any clause, sentence, paragraph, subdivision,
section or portion of this ordinance, or the invalidity of the application thereof to
any person or circumstance shall not affect the validity of the remainder of this
ordinance, or the validity of its application to other persons or circumstances.
Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such
administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of
this legislation.
Section 4 This Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public peace, health, or safety, and support of government and takes

effect immediately. The rates, charges, taxes and fees reenacted herein are
reenacted retroactive to January 1,2000.
