AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE AUBURN CITY CODE 3.04.520 RELATING
TO PETTY CASH AND CHANGE FUNDS FOR THE CITY OF AUBURN
FINANCE DEPARTMENT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Purpose. Auburn City Code 3.04.520 (Ordinance 4110
passed 1986) is hereby amended to read as follows, to-wit:
3.04.520 Finance department petty cash fund.

........ , ....... and change fund in the sum of thirteen
hundred dollars ($1,300) for the use of the finance department for
the purchasing of incidental supplies, making change and paying
other necessary incidental expenses. The city finance director
shall reimburse that fund from time to time for expenditures
outstanding to make a cash balance of a maximum of eight

Section 2. Implementation. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out
the directives of this legislation.
Section 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as
provided by law.
