AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING AUBURN CITY CODE
SECTION 10.40.035 ENTITLED "AUBURN CITY EMPLOYEE
PARKING ESTABLISHED" TO IDENTIFY CITY VEHICLE
PARKING AND EMPLOYEE PERMIT PARKING AREAS.
WHEREAS, a review of the current off-street parking for municipal
purposes showed a need to identify certain locations for City vehicle parking
and City employee permit parking.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 10.40.035 of the City of Auburn Code is
amended to read as follows:
10.40.035 Auburn city vehicle parking and Auburn city employee permit
parking established.
A. Parking for Auburn c ty vehicles and Permit Parking for Auburn Cty
Employees is established at the followinq locations:
1_.~ The west two-thirds of the municipal off-street parking lot located at the
southwest corner of 1st and "A" Street N.W., except for the southeasterly most
space marked "15 Minute Parking,"_.
2. The the-north three rows of the municipal off-street parking lot located at the
northeast corner of 1st and "A" Street N.W., ....

B_~. The lots included in this section shall be posted with signs reading "Parking
by Permit Only, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Others
Impounded" and "Free, Unlimited Parking Evenings, Weekends and Holidays".
C. Parking spaces exclusively for assi.qned city vehicle parkinq on municipal off
street parking lots shall be marked by the traffic en.qineer at the d rect on of the
mayor.
Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such
administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of
this ordinance.
Section 3: If any portion of this Ordinance or its application to any
person or circumstances is held invalid, the remainder of the Ordinance or the
application of the provision to other persons or circumstances shall not be
affected.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days
from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
