HomeMy WebLinkAbout7808020713 QUIT CLAIM DEED 080278~ 1 - QUIT C L A I M D E E D IN THE MATTER OF SR 167, Auburn: 17th St. S.W. to S. 285th St. (Surplus Land) KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that the STATE OF WASHINGTON, for and in consideration of FIFTY AND N01100 ($50.00) DOLLARS hereby conveys and quitclaims unto THE CITY OF AUBURN, a municipal corporation of the State of Washington, all its right, title and interest, in and to the following described real property situated in King County, State of Washington: That portion of the west half of the southwest quarter of the Q northwest quarter of Section 13, Township 21 North, Range 4 East, CD W.M., lying northeasterly of the following described right of way Q line: Beginning at a point opposite Highway Engineer's Station (hereinafter referred to as HES) 18+00 on the West Main Street center line survey of State Highway Route 167, Auburn: 17th St. S.W. to S. 285th St., and 90 feet northeasterly therefrom; thence northwesterly to a point opposite HES 548+05 on the center line survey of said Highway and 160 feet southeasterly therefrom; thence northeasterly, parallel with said center line survey, to a point opposite HES 551+00 thereon; thence northeasterly to a point opposite HES P.C. 556+11.31 on said center line survey and 180 feet southeasterly therefrom and the end of these right of way line descriptions. The grantee herein, its successors or assigns, shall have no right of ingress and egress to, from and between said SR 167 and the lands herein conveyed; nor shall the grantee herein, its successors or assigns, be entitled to compensation for any loss of light, view and air occasioned by the location, construction, maintenance or operation of said highway; EXCEPT that said grantee, its successors or assigns, shall have reasonable ingress and egress to, from and between the West Main Street right of way. The specific details concerning all of which may be found on sheet 5 of that certain plan entitled SR 167, Auburn: 17th St. S.W. to S. 285th St., now of record and on file in the office of the Secretary of Transportation at Olympia, Washington, bearing date of approval June 12, 1969. The lands herein described are not required for State highway purposes and are conveyed pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 78, Laws of 1977, First Extraordinary Session. 1% EXCISE TAX NOT REQUIRED King Co.
