GOVE RN O R'S DEED
IN THE MATTER OF SR 167, Auburn: 17th St. S.W, to South 285th St.
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that THE STATE OF WASHINGTON, for and in
O consideration of Mutual Benefits hereby,conveys and quitclaims unto CITY OF AUBURN,

J a municipal corporation, all its right, title and interest, in and to the following

described real property situated in King County, State of Washington:
All those portions of the following described Parcel "A"
shaded in red color on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this
reference made a part hereof.
Parcel "A":
Government Lots 3 and 4, the south half of the northwest
quarter, and the southwest quarter of Section 1, Township
21 North, Range 4 East, W.M., the northeast quarter of the
northwest quarter, the south half of the northwest quarter
and the north half of the southwest quarter of Section 12,
said Township and Range and the northeast quarter of the
northwest quarter of Section 13, said Township and Range.,
EXCEPT that the grantee herein, its successors or assigns, shall have no right of
ingress and egress to, from and between said SR 167 and the lands herein conveyed;
nor shall the grantee herein, their successors or assigns, be entitled to compensation
for any loss of light, view and air occasioned by the location, construction, main-
tenance or operation of said highway.
The specific details concerning all of which are to be found within that certain
map of definite location now of record and on file in the Office of the Director of
Highways at Olympia, Washington, bearing date of approval October 23, 1969 and
revised October 22, 1971.
The grantee, its personal representatives, successors in interest and assigns,
as a part of the consideration hereof, does hereby covenant and agree, as a covenant
running with the land, that in the event facilities are constructed, maintained, or
otherwise operated on the said property described in this deed, for the accommodation
of the traveling public or business users of any Federal -aid highway (such as eating,
sleeping, rest, recreation, and vehicle servicing), it will not discriminate on the
grounds of race, color, or national origin against such traveling public or highway
users in their access to and use of the facilities and services so constructed,
maintained, or otherwise operated, and that the grantee shall maintain and operate
such facilities and services in compliance with all other requirements imposed pursuant

to Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A,
Office of the Secretary of Transportation, Part 21 (49 C.F.R. Part 21), and as said

CD The lands herein described are not required for State highway purposes and
are conveyed pursuant to the provisions of RCW 47.12.070.
