HomeMy WebLinkAbout551 RESOLUTION N0. 5 5 1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY, A CONTRACT WITH KING COUNTY WHEREIN KING COUNTY AGREES TO PAY THE CITY $10,000 TO PROVIDE RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR THE AUBURN COMMUNITY. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: THAT the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Auburn, Washington, be and they are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with King County wherein King County agrees to pay the City of Auburn a sum of $10,000 to be used to provide recreational programs for the rural areas of the Auburn School District, a copy of said contract is attached hereto, designated as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof as though set forth herein in full. DATED and SIGNED this 15th day of January, 1973. We are happy to be working with the City of Auburn and its Park and Recreation staff for bigger and better recreation programs for the citizens throughout the Auburn School District.
