HomeMy WebLinkAbout585 RESOLUTION N0: 5 8 5 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE CITY OF AUBURN'S LATEST COMPREHENSIVE WATER PLAN COVERING THE PERIOD 1974 THROUGH 1985 AND AUTHORIZING PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SUBMIT QUALIFIED PROJECTS TO THE STATE OF WASHINGTON FOR FUNDING ASSISTANCE. WHEREAS, the Utility Committee and the Public Works Department of the City of Auburn, Washington, have prepared and submitted a Comprehensive Water Plan to the Mayor and City Council of the City of Auburn, Washington, for adoption and approval; and WHEREAS, said Comprehensive Water Plan meets the projected needs of the citizens of the City of Auburn, Washington, for the period of 1974 through 1985. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, SITTING IN A REGULAR MEETING HEREWITH RESOLVES THAT: THAT certain Comprehensive Water Plan, a copy of which is attached hereto and denominated Exhibit "A" and the terms of which-are incorporated herein by. reference, is adopted by the City of Auburn, Washington as the Comprehensive Water Plan for the City of Auburn, Washington, for the period 1974 through 1985 and the Public Works Director for the City of Auburn, Washington, is herewith authorized to submit appropriate plans to the State of Washington consistent with said Comprehensive Water Plan for funding of .future water projects for the citizens of the City of Auburn, Washington.
