HomeMy WebLinkAbout1565~ ~ ~ ~ C14 ~ ~ ~ i i REi"~'~; RESOLUTION N0. 1 5 6 5 1 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DEDICATING A 30 FOOT SOUTHERLY PORTION OF CITY OF AUBURN WATER 3 DIVISION PROPERTY ADJACENT TO SOUTH 316TH STREET TO PROVIDE RIGHT-OF-WAY THEREON FOR STREET PURPOSES. 4 5 WHEREAS, South 316th Street presently ends at the Evergreen Elementary 6 Schoal east property line; and 7 WHEREAS, LLOYD ENTERPRISES utilizes the remaining portion of the 30 foot 8 existing right-of-way as an access to and from their gravel hauling operation; 9 and 10 WHEREAS, the final restoration plans for gravel removal operation include 11 an extension of 15th Street N.W. up the hill to South 316th Street; and 12 WHEREAS, 60 feet of right-of-way will be required for the street 13 connection; and 14 WHEREAS, LLOYD ENTERPRISES wishes to construct a 24 foot wide asphalt road 15 centered on the right-of-way to provide better access and sight distance at 16 the entrance of Evergreen Elementary School; and 17 WHEREAS, the long range plan includes the construction of a full arterial 18 street as part of the final restoration of the gravel removal operation, 19 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, IN A 20 REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH RESOLVES THAT: 21 Section 1. There is herewith dedicated for street purposes from the 22 Auburn Water Division to the City of Auburn for street purposes the following 23 legally described property, to-wit: 24 The South 30.00 feet of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 11, Township 25 21 North, Range 4 East, W.M. LESS the West 663.00 feet thereof, situated in the City of 26 Auburn, County of King, State of Washington. 27 Section 2. Upon the passage and approval of this Resolution the City of 28 Auburn Legal Department is hereby authorized to record this Resolution with 29 King County. 30 32 Resolution No. 1565 .
