expectations of the board members to be at the farm that Tuesday, 9/18, 5 to 7 p.m. and help
with set-up and smoozing. The Beyersdorf family pleged $3,000 towards the campaign, and
Ronnie invited other board members to make contributions. In a capital campaign it is very
important to have support from the board, then procede to gather support from the community.
Kenny Calvert volunteered to work with Carl on some carpentry projects in the milking parlor.
C. Collections Committee (9/26, 2p.m.) Warren Kinggeorge
Warren talked about the committee activities. They reviewed a group of items considering
them for inclusion in the collection. Most of the artifacts that we accepted were of a theme that
fits the museum. Some items are not accepted for the museum because we already have
similar items in the collection.
D. Harvest Costume Ball (8/14, 10 a.m.) Judi Roland, Doug Hedger
Sponsorships were discussed. We need to push sponsorships over the next month, then we
begin selling tickets and organizing tables and table captains. Past board president Bud
Kuhlman will be in charge of table captains.

The bylaw revisions were read. The changes proposed changed the southern boundary to
include parts of Auburn that extend into Pierce County. We also revised the officer terms of
office to provide for keeping an officer on the board for two terms or until a successor is
elected. A motion was made to approve the report and bring it up on the agenda on the next
board meeting to vote on. These proposed changes will be posted on our web site for
members' review.
