do hereby grant and convey to the CITY OF AUBURN, a Municipal Corporation its
successors and assigns, the perpetual right, permit, license and easement to use
and occupy the herinafter described lands for the purpose of constructing and
maintaining highway slopes in excavation and/or embankment, together with the
right to construct and maintain a drainage system, together with the right to
construct, erect, alter, repair, operate, enlarge, replace, maintain and keep
clear overhead and underground electric transmission and distribution lines,
M overhead and undergro�jnd telephone transmission and distribution lines,
transmission and distribution water lines, sanitary sewer lines, natural gas
lines, and other utility facilities, along with their necessary appurtenances,
said lands being situated in King County, State of Washington, and described as
follows:
THAT PORTION OF THE NORTH 185 FT OF E 113.4 FT OF THE WEST 679.9 FT OF THE SOUTH
QD ONE HALF OF THE WI'LLIAM BRANNAN DONATION LAND CLAIM NO. 37, SITUATED IN SECTION
7, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 5 EAST, W.M., KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON, DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS:
BEGIN AT A POINT ON THE EAST BOUNDARY OF "I" STREET N.E., 50 FEET SOUTH OF THE
NORTH BOUNDARY OF THE SOUTH ONE HALF OF SAID WILLIAM BRANNAN CLAIM; THENCE
EASTERLY PARALLEL TO THE NORTH BOUNDARY OF THE SOUTH ONE HALF OF WILLIAM BRANNAN
CLAIM A DISTANCE OF 113.4 FT TO THE EAST BOUNDARY OF SAID PROPERTY; THENCE
SOUTHERLY ALONG THE EAST BOUNDARY OF SAID PROPERTY, A DISTANCE OF I FT; THENCE
WESTERLY TO A POIHT ON THE EAST BOUNDARY OF "I" STREET N.E., 5 FT SOUTH OF THE
POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE NORTH A DISTANCE OF 5 FT ALONG THE EAST BOUNDARY OF
"I" STREET N.E. TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
The Grantors, successors or assigns shall not place, construct or maintain, any
building or other structure within the boundary limits of said strip of land.

Grantee hereto maj grant to Puget Sound Power and Light Company, Pacific
Northwest Bell Telephone Company, etc. any or all of the rights Granted herein;
provided, that use by such party shall be subject to the terms and conditions of
this agreement.
This Easement shall be a covenant running with the land and shall be
binding on the successors, heirs and assigns of all parties hereto.
