WHEREAS, The City of Auburn, a municipal corporation of the State of Washington,
hereinafter called "Municipality," has easement rights on certain property for a water
line under the terms of an easement recorded under Auditor's File No. 8107230678,
records of King County; and
WHEREAS, Pacific Northwest Bell Telephone Company, hereinafter called "Pacific,"
desires to install certain underground telephone facilities within the sa < edf'ement m

NOW THEREFORE, the Municipality consents to said installations subjects totahe

1. In the event the above referenced property is disturbed by the iriq~'tal1AD.on,
maintenance, removal, repair, or replacements of the underground telephone facilities
specified herein, Pacific shall restore the surface of the above referenced property
as nearly as possible to the condition in which it existed as the commencement of said
installation, maintenance, removal, repair or replacement.
2. Pacific shall protect and save harmless the Municipality from any and all claims,
demands, loss, damage, expense and liability of every kind and description, including
personal injury and for any damage to or loss or destruction of property whatsoever
suffered by the Municipality, or by any persons, firms, or corporations arising from or
related to the installation, use, and/or maintenance of Pacific's telephone facilities.
