E. 304th St. and 118th Ave. S. E. 1. The school will finance and manage the construction of the sewerage project and provide construction engineer- ing and inspections. 2. The City agrees to bear all further costs of maintaining and operating the sewerage project, except that the school will bear all power.costs to operate the pump stations. 3. All work constructed under this agreement shall be in ac- cordance with the City of Auburn standards for construc- tion of similar items. The plans and specifications shall be approved by the City Public Works Director prior to ad- vertisement for bids. 4. The School shall acquire all permits and easements for the city for all items to be constructed under this agreement. 5. The School will receive credit for all future areawide sewer assessments on the school property. It is agreed that the amount of area assessment against the school prop- erty is $18,350. 6. In accordance with Chapter 35.91 of the Revised Code of Washington, all parties connected to Lhe gravity sewer to be constructed along the North side of the South 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 9, Township 21 North, Range 5 East, W.M., extending from 124th Ave. Si. E. to a point ap- proximately 820 feet West of the centerline of 124the Ave. S. E. shall pay a connection charge per front foot measured along the property line adjacent to the sewer. All charges in lieu of assessment collected in excess of $181350.00 will be returned-to the school at the time these charges are collected. Connection charge in lieu of assessment will be computed by the front foot method and established to provide for the recovery from the adjacent property served by this sewer for all actual costs•of the sewer. Property Lo be-served by this sewer is described as follows: The North 180 feet of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 9, except the East 180 feet thereof, and except the North 30 feet thereof; TOGETHER WITH THE South 180 feet of the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 9 except the East 246 feet of the South 180 feet of the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 9 except the South 30 feet thereof; TOGETHER WITH the East 246 feet of the North 180 feet of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 9 except the North 30 feet thereof. 8. The school agrees that.they will not object to the Tormatio: of any future improvement distrj•ct for the construction of sewer lines to serve any portion of the Hazelwood Junior High School property not served by the sewer system to be constructed under this agreement. 9. Where actual cost of certain items of the work is referred to in this agreement, it is meant to mean total cost of the entire project and shall include all direct, costs- in-curred-by the School, in addition to the actual contract bid prices paid to the Contractor. The cost of con- strizr+-ier. Wili be computed for all items on the basis of the contract bid prices. The other costs incurred by the District will be prorated on the same proportion that the construction costs of the item is to the total construction cost of the project.
