EASEMENT TO THE CITY OF AUBURN.
The undersigned, H. L. Markley and Olive A. Markley, his
wife, in-consideration of the sum of Ones D5=ar, in hand
paid, the receipt of which is herewith acknowledged, hereby
grant and convey unto the City of Auburn the right, privilege
and easement to construct, operate, maintain, and use a sewer,
under, through, and across the following described property
situate in the County of King, State of Washington.
A strip of land five feet in width on the-

It is agreed that grantors have paid for said lot, but that
title is still in the name of sellers, said H. L. Markley and wife
not yet having received a deed, and in the event grantors herein
never obtain title this agreement is to be void.
Grantors shall have the right to connect onto said sewer
when and after the same is installed.
Any manhole cover located on grantors' land shall be covered
with not less than six inches of sod, and there shall be no manhole
in the street (J Street) in front of grantors' property.
The City of Auburn agrees to restore said pr mis s to their
original condition, and agrees to be responsible or uture damage.
Said sewer line is to be on the south five feet of said property
of grantors, and said manhole cover on the south five feet thereof, 40
feet west of the east line of grantors' property, and said manhole cover
at least six inches under lowest possible lot grade.
In witness whereof we have herewith affixed our hands and seals
this day of June, 1950.

H.L.Markley and-Dlive A. Markley, his wife, to me known to be the

instrument, and who acknowledged that they signed the same as their
free and voluntary act and deed, for the uses and purposes therein
mentioned.
