the sum of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00) in hand paid, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do
hereby grant, sell and convey to the City of Auburn ,
Auburn , Washington, a municipal corporation Grantee, its successors
and assigns, an easement and right-of-way, over, through, under, across, upon and in the
following described real property situate in Kina
County, Washington, TO-WIT:
A Sidewalk
The Grantor,
That portion of Lot 6, Block 5 of Abraham's First Addition to Auburn as recorded in
Volume 20 of Plats, Page 67, Records of King County, described as followes:
Beginning at a point on the easterly line of said Lot 6 which is 6.0 feet north of
the southeast corner of said Lot 6; thence southwesterly to a point on the southerly
line of said Lot 6 which is 6.0 feet west of the southeast corner of said Lot 6; thence
easterly alono the southerly line 6.0 feet to the southeast corner of Lot 6; thence
north along the eastern boundry to the point of beginning, which is a triangle on
the northwest corner of the intersection of Pike Street southeast and East Plain Streets.

except and excluding therefrom areas where structures now exist for the construction,
operation, maintenance and/or repair and/or replacement of

with the right,!of ingress and egress to and from said easement and right-of--way for all
purpose necessary and related thereto.
This easement is granted with the understanding that the property affected
will be promptly and properly returned to a condition equal to its original condition
upon each and all completion of construction, operation, maintenance, use, repair and/or
replacement. The Grantee also agrees to indemnify and save harmless the grantors from
any liability arising from each and all uses contemplated herein. The Grantor agrees
that no structure will be eracted on the easement that would interfere with the use
contemplated without the written consent of the Grantee.
