EASEMENT FOR A SIDEWALK
The Grantor, Julia Rakestraw and
his wife, for and in consideration of
the sum of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00) in hand paid, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do
hereby grant, sell and convey to the City of Auburn ,
Auburn , Washington, a municipal corporation Grantee, its successors
and2 assigns, an easement and right-of-way, over, through, under, across, upon and in the
following described real property situate in King
County, Washington, TO-WIT:
That portion of Lot 1, Abraham's First Addition as recorded in Volume 20, Page 67,
records of King County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point 5.0 feet north of the southwest corner of said Lot 1 on the west
line; thend'e in a southeasterly direction to a point 5.0 feet east of the southwest
corner; thence west along the south line to the southwest corner; thence north to the
point of beginning.

This easement is granted with the understanding that the property affected
will be promptly and properly returned to a condition equal to its original condition
upon each and all completion of construction, operation, maintenance, use, repair and/or
replacement. The Grantee also agrees to indemnify and save harmless the grantors from
any liability arising from each and all uses contemplated herein. The Grantor agrees
that no structure will be eracted on the easement that would interfere with the use
contemplated without the written consent of the Grantee.
