SLOPE AND UTILITY EASEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT made. this: 1 3TO 1 daffy of -m - r , 191, by and
between the CITY OF AUBURN, a mun c pal corporation of ing un s Washington,
hereinafter termed "Grantee" and CARL S. BOLTON, Partner - Pentagon Enterprises
hereinafter termed
"Grantor".
NITHESSETH:
That the said Grantor for valuable consideration does by these presents grant
unto the Grantee a slope and utility easement with the right to make all necessary
slopes upon the.aEbutting property for cuts and fills as may be required in the
construction of roadway improvements and.for adequate drainage ditches to preserve
existing drainage on and adjacent to the right-of-way on West Main Street
The slope and utility easement is described as follows:
The North 11 feet of the following legally described property:
The West 112 of the East 1/2 of the East 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of~
the Southwest 1/4 of;S'ec `ion1,3, Township 21 North; Range 4 East,.W.M. ,
LESS-State Road. Situate in the City of Auburn, County of King, State
of Washington.

Thot said Grantee shall have -the right without prior institution of any suit
or proceeding at laws at times as may be necessary,.to enter upon said easement for
the purpose of placement of roadway slopes without incurring any legal obligation
or-liability .therefor; provided: that such construction shall be accomplishedin such
a manner that private improvements shall not be disturbed or destroyed, or in the
event they ere disturbed. . strayed, they will be.replaced in as good a condition
as' they were immediate b the property was entered upon by the Grantee.
.This easemenf'shall be automatically extinguished in the event grantor, its
heirss successors,-and assigns, bring the land herein burdened by the easement to
the grade'of grantees nearest pavement.
This easement shall be covenant running with the land and shall be binding on
the successors,.heirss, and.assigns of both parties hereto.

acknowledged that he signed the same as his free and voluntary act and
deed, for the uses and purposes therein mentioned.
