E A S E M E N T
THIS AGREEMENT made this /-,F-day of vas 1967, by and
between the CITY OF AUBURN, a municipal corporat'on of King County,
Washington, hereinafter termed "Grantee" and
Harold R. Iverson and
his wife,
hereinafter termed "Grantor".

WITNESSETH:

That the said Grantor for valuable consideration does by these
presents grant unto the Grantee a perpetual right-of-way or easement
for access road and drainage facilities across the following described
property situated in King County"-,Washington, more particularly describ-
ed as follows:
The South 80--feet of that portion of the Southwest 1/4 of the
Northeast 1/4 of,Section 23, Township 21 North, Range 4 East, W.M.
lying North of the South 440 feet thereof and West of the Westerly
margin of the West Valley Road.
ALSO, the said Grantor for valuable consideration does by these
presents grant unto the'Grantee a slope easement with the right to
make all necessary slopes upon the abutting property for cuts and
fills and drainage facilities as may be required in the construction
of roadway improvements on West Valley Road.
The slope easement is described as follows:
That portion of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section
23, Township 21 North, Range 4 East, W.M. lying North of the South 440
feet thereof and West of the Westerly margin of the West Valley Road.
That said Grantee shall have the right without prior institution
of any suit or proceeding at law, at times as may be necessary, to
enter unon said easement without incurring any legal obligation or
liability therefore; provided that such entry shall be accomplished
in such a manner that private improvements shall not be disturbed or
destroyed, or in the event they are disturbed or destroyed, they will
be replaced in as good a condition as they were immediately before
the property was entered upon by the Grantee.
This easement shall be a convenant running with the land and shall
be binding on the successors, heirs, and assigns of both parties hereto.
