5. Calvary Temple agrees to allow the City to maintain and make any
necessary repairs to the existing water main pending the relocation of the
water main to the proposed new location,
6. The City of Auburn agrees to issue a final certificate of occupancy to
Calvary Temple covering the building located at 3535 Auburn Way South upon the
final execution of this Agreement.

AGREEMENT FOR WATER MAIN RELOCATION 55
THIS AGREEMENT is made between CALVARY TEMPLE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD, 3535
Auburn Way South; Auburn, Washington (Calvary Temple) and the CITY OF AUBURN.
It is an agreement to relocate a City water main, which is presently situated
under an accessory building and to issue a final certificate of occupancy to
Calvary Temple by the City.
Calvary Temple, it heirs, successors and assigns, and the City agree as
follows:
1. Calvary Temple will assume financial responsibility for the expense of
relocating the City water main which is presently situated under an accessory
building on Calvary Temple's building site.
2. Calvary Temple has submitted with this Agreement a survey and a pro-
posed easement with a legal description describing the location of the pro-
posed new City water main. This survey is attached as Exhibit "A" and the
legal description is attached as Exhibit "B". The survey has been reviewed by
the Public Works Department and the Building Department of the City of Auburn
and the proposed location of the new water main is acceptable to the City.
3. The construction of this new water main will be completed by Calvary
Temple within two (2) years of the date of this Agreement.
4. Calvary Temple agrees to hold the City harmless for any damage to
Calvary Temple resulting from the continued location of the City water main in
its present locations. Calvary Temple further agrees to indemnify the City
against any claim made against the City by a third party resulting from the
present location of the City water main beneath the accessory building.

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. The following members were
present: Chairman Bud Larson, Councilman Pete Whittall, Councilman Pat Burns.
Staff in attendance: Public Works Director Frank Currie, Public Works
Operations Manager Frank Mabry, City Engineer Marv Seabrands, Finance Department
staff Margaret Hardenberg and Susie Togafau.

A. REQUEST FOR PAYBACK AGREEMENT - WATER MAIN CWSTRUCTI(N
A resolution authorizing a latecomer agreement with Larry Faunce for
MARY BRATOVICII water main construction between Pike Street N. W. and West Valley
Highway (south of 20th Street N.W.) was approved by the Committee and
recommended for approval by the Council.
B. CHPN GE ORDER N O. 1- WATER I MPROVEMEN T N 0. 15 8
MARY BRATOVICH A change order in the amount of $12,133.53 for boring of a water
main under the spur track south of 3rd Street N . W. on "C" Street N .
W. was approved by the Committee. The Committee had previously
approved an amount in the range of $8,500 to $10,000 prior to the
actual construction. The final amount was greater due to the fact
that the bore had to be longer than anticipated.
C. CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 - WATER IMPROVEMENT NO. 158
A change order in the amount of $11,037.61 was approved by the
Committee and involved miscellaneous piping conflicts and conflicts
MARY BRATOVICH with other utilities on a three-part water construction project on "C"
Street N. W., 6th Street N. E., and "M" Street S. E.
II. CCN SEN T
A. AUTHORITY TO CALL FOR QUOTES FOR DUST OILING - 1986
FRANK MABRY A request in the amount of $7,500 (budgeted amount) for dust oiling
was presented to the Committee. The Committee approved the list of
streets as presented and recommended quotes be obtained.

B. AUTHORITY TO CALL FOR BIDS FOR TRAFFIC CONTROL PAIN TIN G - 1986
A request for centerline and traffic control painting in the amount of
$18,000 was presented to the Committee for 1986 traffic control

mended approval to the Council.
C. UTILITY BILL ADJUSTMENT - ACCOUNT NO. 242-4050
MARY BRATOVICIi The Committee approved the adjustment and recommended approval to the
Council.
D. UTILITY BILL ADJUSTMENT - ACCOUNT NO. 316-0270
MARY BRATOVICH The Committee approved the adjustment and recommended approval to the
Council.
E. UTILITY BILL ADJUSTMENT - ACCOUNT NO. 319-0060
MARY BRATOVICH The Committee approved the adjustment as presented and recommended
approval to the Council.
F. UTILITY BILL ADJUSTMENT DENIAL - ACCOUNT NOS. 342-0300 & 423-0720
FRANK MARRY The recommendation from the staff was to deny sewer adjustments on
these two accounts due to the fact that it could not be proved that
water did not enter the sanitary sewer system. The Committee approved
the denials and recommended letters be written to the accounts indi-
cating their response.
III. REPORTS
A. CALVARY TEMPLE WATER LINE RELOCATION
A letter was received from Calvary Temple requesting an extension of
JACK BEREITER one year of the existing agreement for the relocation of a water main
currently under a portable building at the Calvary Temple Assembly of
MARY BRNMVICIi God. The Committee approved the one year extension of the agreement
and recommended the proper revisions to the agreement be made to extend
the agreement to March 15, 1987.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, the meeting was
adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
