AUGUST 3, 1992
The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. Those in attendance
were Chairman Rich Wagner, Councilman Pat Burns, Councilman
Michael Weekley. Staff present were Public Works Director Frank
A. Currie, Assistant Public Works Director Alice I. Conrad, and
Senior Engineer Dennis Selle.
ISSUES
A. SIX -YEAR TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PLAN
Staff discussed with the Committee the rating system
and funding criteria used for developing the proposed
1993-1998 Six Year Transportation Plan. The Committee
recommended the Council adopt Resolution No. 2335
calling for a September 8, 1992, Public Hearing on the
Proposed Plan, and requested that staff provided public
notification of the meeting in addition to the normal
advertising and posting requirements of the City.
The Committee also requested that the staff prepare an
Action item for the August 17, 1992 Committee meeting
concerning the status of updating the Comprehensive
Transportation Plan.
B. ESTABLISHMENT OF SMALL WORKS ROSTER
Staff discussed with the Committee the proposed
Ordinance to establish a Small Works Roster to aid the
contractor selection process for jobs under one hundred
thousand dollars ($100,000.00). The Committee
recommended the Council approve the proposed Ordinance
at the August 3, 1992 Council meeting.
C. CONSULTANT SELECTION PROCEDURES
The consultant selection procedures currently in use,
per State law, were placed in Ordinance form and
reviewed by the Committee. The Committee recommended
to the Council at the August 3 meeting that the
Ordinance be approved.
CONSENT
A. FINAL PAY ESTIMATE TO PAPE & SONS CONSTRUCTION, INC.
FOR WATER IMPROVEMENT NO. 167, CONTRACT 91-06
The Committee approved the final pay estimate, and
recommended approval to the Council at the August 3,
1992 meeting.

B. REQUEST PERMISSION TO SURPLUS AND AUCTION RADIOS
The Committee approved the surplus list, and
recommended approval to the Council at the August 3,
1992 meeting.
C. UTILITY ADJUSTMENTS TO ACCOUNT 1304-3690 IN THE AMOUNT
OF SEVEN HUNDRED FOUR DOLLARS AND SIXTEEN CENTS
($704.16), AND ACCOUNT 1327-1530 IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE
HUNDRED NINETY-TWO DOLLARS AND TWENTY-FOUR CENTS
($192.24)
The Committee approved the adjustments as presented,
and recommended approval to the Council at the August
3, 1992 meeting.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, the
meeting was adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
