The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. Those in attendance
were Chairman Don Kurle, Councilman Rich Wagner, and Councilman
Pat Burns. Staff present were Public Works Director Frank A.
Currie, Asst. Public Works Director Alice I. Conrad, and City
Engineer Mary Seabrands.
ISSUES
A. RESOLUTION NO. 2272 - REQUESTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR
VACATION OF STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY KNOWN AS 8TH STREET
S.E. , BETWEEN "D" STREET S.E. AND AUBURN WAY SOUTH
Mary Seabrands explained the request for the Street
Delay, and that City staff would provide a report to
the Council for their review at the Hearing to be held
on February 18, 1992 .
The Committee approved the Resolution, and recommended
approval to the Council at the January 20 Council
meeting.
CONSENT
A. RESOLUTION NO. 2273 - ESTABLISH A NEW DATE OF MARCH 2,
1992 FOR THE HEARING FOR THE FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR
L.I.D. 344
At the January 6, 1992 Public Works Committee meeting,
Resolution No. 2264 was approved, requesting a Public
Hearing for the Main Street L.I.D. 344, to be held on
February 17, 1992. Since that date is a legal holiday,
and the Council meeting will be held on February 18, a
new date of March 2, 1992 has been established for the
Hearing date.
The Committee approved the Resolution and recommended
approval to the Council at the January 20 meeting.
B. UTILITY ADJUSTMENT TO ACCOUNT #312-1440, IN THE AMOUNT
OF THREE THOUSAND SEVENTY-ONE DOLLARS AND THIRTY-NINE
CENTS ($3, 071. 39)
The Committee approved the utility adjustment, and
recommended approval to the Council at the January 20
meeting.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, the
meeting was adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
