Regular meetir_g of the Ci_ty CQunCil of the rity of tiuburn,
held at 8:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers at the City Ha11.
The meetirg was called to order by Mayor Clark,
Counrilmen present: Hitchcock, Kuehn, Rupert, Sr.odgrass anc3
Raven.
Councilmen absent: 3t.alder and Feteraon.
N'inutes of the previous meet'-ng held Nov. 5th and 14th were
approved as mailed.
i uBLIC HEAFtING LIP 129
The N:ayor declared the PubZic Hearing on the assessment roll
f.or LID 129 continued.
There being no one speakirig for or against the assessment ro11
the Mayor declared the hearing closed.
It was moved by Hitchcock an;: 2nd by Raven t,hat the assessmen~
roll for LID 129 be approved and the City Attorney be instructed t,
draw up the necessary orainance. MOTION CaRRIED
~,ICENSE COAqITTEE fiEPORT
Councilaiar. Nitc:hcock said he and Plir. Decker the Dog Warr_3en
had been over to Tukwi.lla and me'u witr: their City Council, to
talk over the agreement of having the Dog Warder. work irl Tukwilla
on aaturdays. He sai.d rukwilla had requested that a copy of the
nog Ordinance be aent to them.
Councilman Hitcncock gave a report on the Dog operations as
of November lst and aaid t,hat everyone was weil plsased with the
work the Dog Warden is doing.
Councilman Hitchcock asked that the City C1erk bill the other
Communities, that share in the Dog Control Expense, their Fr o-
portionate share of the costs as of January I, 195$ accordi.np to
the 195$ budget figures.
It was moved bv Hitchcock and 2nd by R.upert that the City
Council approve the dog agreement with Tukwilla and authorize
the Mayor to sign it. MOTION CARRIED
LOCOMO`I'IVE
Councilman Kuehn surmitted a written repcrt for the Special
Committee on the NP locomotive atid recomr.ieriding that the City Cleik
write the NP saying the City accepts the locomotive and thank them
and that bids be called far the moving of the locomotive to the
city park.
It was moved by Kuehn and 2nd by Hitchcock that the City Clerl
advise the NP that the City of Auburn accepts the locomota ve and
thank them f.or it, and call f or bids for moving the locombtive
with bids to be opezied Dec. 17th. MOTICN CARPIED
STREET C0MNiITTEE REPURT
Councilman Raven reported for the Street Committee recom,mendin
that B at. a.E. be made a 1 way street going south from Main to 2nd
and eliminating the parking meters on the east aide of B St,. "ra .
from Mair, south to the a11ey. This was all in accordance with the
Fire Committee and Police Chief.
It was moved by Raven and 2nd by Hitchcock that the recomm-
eridation of the Street Committee be accepted and the City kttny.

The "ity Clerk said he hac3 heard that, one ai the Councilmdn
had sazd that city figures and inforcr:ati.on were nct auailable
to the public. He said this wa5 not true, because al1 inform;atim
anci figures were public recorc3 and anyone who would come into the
office, durir_g office hours, could obtai.n any of this information.
Councilrrian Rupert, said he was the one who had n,ade those
= reports and that was his feelings.
Councilrrian Kuehn saici the Finance commit,tee waz:ld 1 ike a
copy cf the monthly budget reports.
Tne City Clerk said the State Examirers repart is i_ri,
vouncilmar. K.uehrl felt the Council ar:ould study this report.
