Harvey Road. It was moved by Aaby and 2nd by Pre.seott to eall for
a public hearing on Sept. 2, 1958. MOTION CARRIED
NORTHWEST INSURANCE
City Clerk read a letter from the Insurance Co. stating that
the City and itst employees were'not negligent in any manner which
caused Mrs. Davist'injury, and-they requested the Gity Council to
formally deny her claim. It was moved by Rupert and 2nd by Prescott that Mrs. Davists
claim be denied.

Mr. Eaton submitted a letter stating that early this year the
County moved equipment over So. 320th St. and left said street in'
a very dusty and bad condition a number of the residents on said
streeV, complained to the cour4ty `with the result that the county"oi7
th?e,{sVr~b6t.th*ereby correcting the hazard. He stated that since thE
time the City Street Dept. moved in and disposed of the oi1 surTacE
on the south side of the street while installing a sewer line. He
asked that the City return this street tqo as :good as a c;ondition a:
bef ore . -
The street Supt. advised Mr. Eaton that his departmenti. has
every intneti.on of resurfacing this street and the new oil surfaee
should be completed in about two weeks.
