shown in the b1ue print for North Auburn be installed, usirig
300 watt lights.

install 2 lights in front of the Totian Gountry Club restruant,
using 300 watt lights.

The lights are in at :'4 St. and Enumclaw Hwy, all except
the Mizrcery vapor lights wherc the island will be installed.

declaring a Public emergency to exist transfering 310,000.00
from the Cumulative Reserve Fund to the Current Expense Fund
for supplementing the $100,000.00 Gcneral Obligation Bond
issue far completion of Fire Station construction, be introduced

~ They have started to replace pipe on 8th and C to 9th
and Fstreets. This project should be completed this week
sometime. There are several other places where pipe must be
replaced. Most of thest- water mains are the old wooden tvpe
and are in bad need of replacemert,

Therc was a typographical error in the deeds for the City
Park. The school owns only the East 400 fedt of the Park.
George gave the council the deed and ordinances pretaining to
the ownership of this propcrty

Mr. Nels Blomedn brought up the subjcct of the gate at the
City Park. The Mayor appointed t committee, Prescofit, Aaby,
and Stalde.r, to look further i.nto the matter with a report to
be given at the next regular council meeting.
CORRTSPUN'JENCE
ThA City Clerk .redd a letter from James P. Curran, advising
the Council fihat he was appointed to the Resolution Committee
of the Washington Association of Cities. He requested that the
members of the Council present antr matters they think are
irn,nortant to the Citi_es in the same class.
The Mayor stated that any problems should be presented to
this committee we11 in advance of the convention.

premiums this year are so high.

that a finance committee be set up as the statutc peBcribcs and
thereafter carry out the investtnent of fund.s according to the
above statute described in the .letter.
