The City Clerk read a letter from Mrs. Dallas L. McCart
rega.rding Jenni-~ Crouch and the mess in her back yard.
ThP Mayor reported that the health officer was over to
examine this complaint and said it was o.k. The Mayor and
Chief of Police will investigate this matter further.

The City Clerlc read a report from the CittT Fngineer. The
tc+al number of Bldg. Permits issued f or April, May , and June-

Mr. C.B. Lewis presented a petition from the Valley Golden
Age Club requesting the following additions to the current
garbage ordinance.
l. Garbage should be wrapped bef ore placing in cans. 2.
Cans should he placed just insydP p.rop?rtv line and not in
alley. 3. Garbage drivers should be held responsi.ble _for placi
lids back on cons ana should replace lids if broker..
The Allevs are getting crowded with garbage cans to a point
where it is difficult to even drive down them.
The itmes mentioned iri the petitaor.i are alreadv covered in
the garbage ordinance, but this will be checked.
