PUBLIG HEARING
The Mayor announced that the Public Hearing was open regard-
ing the Mayor's Preliminary Budget for 1960.
The City Clerk read the certificate from the County Assessort
Office the assessed valuation of $10,936,646 Limits #1, and
$563 , 2 50 Limits #2.
Each ite:n of the Freliminary Budget was read and considered.

Grover Heffner was present to discuss the problem of trees
near his Froperty, and alsa about the widening of streets. The
City Engineer stated that the streets used more b,y the public
would be taken care of first, and then the residential area, but
he could not give an exact answer.

He also discussed about the other taxie service giving free rades
after so many paid ones.
This rpoblem was referred to the License Committee and City
Clerk to investigate as to the Ordinance report will be given at
the next Council meeting.
