Call to Order
T'he meetino was called to order bv Ms. Brinker aC 4:10 pm.
Board Members present
Advisory Board Members: Trudy Ginther, Burr Mosby, Ronnie Roberts, Maroaret
Greenslit, Jetf Viney, Paula Wiech, Joanne Macnab. City Staff: Lillie Brinker, Daryl
Faber, Councilman Bill Peloza.
Minutes
Daryl Faber, Parks, Arts and Recreation Director opened with introductions. He also
explained the role and responsibility of a City Advisory Board. He suggested that an
Advisory Board is the ears and eyes of the community. Mr. Faber expressed the value of
volunteers supporting City of Auburn Programs.
The chair was voted on and approved. Ms. Joanne Macnab is the AIFM Advisory Board
Chair.
Bill Peloza requested that minutes are emailed two w-eeks prior to Advisory Board
meeting. He recommended a copy of the King County Conservation District grant be
provided at the next meeting.
It was voted and approved that the Master Gardeners would participate this season at the
farmers market. The AIFM would provide table, chairs, storage and canopies.
Trudy Gunter suggested that the Advisory Board meeting be moved to the fourth
Thursday of each month. It was voted and approved.
`It was suggested that we have a rota.ting secretary each meeting.Trudy is the secretary at :the March 25 meeting; Paula Wiech volunteered to be the secretary at the May 27th
. meeting.
Maggie Greenslit.voted to adjourn meeting and Jeff Viney approved.
