Note 5: Available only if sign a 2.5 year contract; City would get 1/2 of annual amount for last half of 2010; full annual
amount for 2011, 66% in 2012 and 33% of annual amount if City agrees to 2 year extension in 2013; 0% in 2014.
Note 6: KC figures assume all current cities stay with KC, if they don't, cost goes up; this figure does not include the potential
infrequent cost sheltering of livestock or add'I fees associated with a complicated animal cruelty case.
Note 7: Current Enhanced Services budgeted for $98,500. If City chose to go with Pierce County, it should not have to pay
for the last half of the year.
Note 8: Currently King County will not allow cities to use a menu options. They must select all three portions of the program -
animal control, sheltering and licensing.
