At that meeting staff presented the 1 proposed map amendment and the 8 proposed policy/text amendmerrts including the.1 set of privately-imitated policy/text amendments (See the next page for a listing of amendments): At the November 9, 2010 PCDC meeting, staff will continue review of the proposed Policy/Text amendments and the Planning Gommission's recommendation on those amendments. Summarv of_Recommendations Also included is the 2010 Comprehensive Plan Amendments' working binder. At the front of the working bind"er is a summary table (see gray-colored 11" x 17" paper) outlining: • the 2010 Comprehensive Plan Amendmeryts (Map and PolicylText Amendmerrts); • stafPs recommendation for each amendment; , • the Planning Commission's recommendation for each amendment; and a • summary of the PCDC discussion to date. Staff 'has inGuded updated information to the policy/text amendment section of the working binder ba_sed on discussions at the October 25, 2010 PCDC meeting relating to the map amendrrienfs. Those proposed changes are on the gray-colored paper. Discussion At the November 9, 2010 PCDC meeting, staff will continue review of the proposed Annual Comprehensive Plan Amendments and the Planning Commission's recommendation on those amendmerrts. P/T #8 Chapter 2 - General Approach • Add new Policy GP-31 to acknowledge contribution by businesses that provide educational and historical value to existing Goal 4; Community Character. Chapter 3 - Land Use • Modify Policy LU-14 to acknowledge appropriateness of agricultural uses and limited retail uses supporting agricultural uses in the Residential Conservancy zone. m Modify Policy LU-15 to acknowledge limited commercial activity is ` appropriate when in support of agricultural uses and when not adversely impacting residential uses in the Residential Conservancy zone. • Modify Policy LU-45 to recognize agricultural uses are appropriate as a - primary use in this general policy related to neighborhood quality.
