Summary: Summary: Approve Final Pay Estimate No. 3 to Contract No. 10-14 in the
amount of $38,326.63 for a total contract price of $153,747.70 with Rodarte
Construction, Inc. and accept construction of Project Number CP0715, Mary Olson
Farm Restoration - Parking Lot and Trail Improvements.
B. Resolution No. 4668 - Acceptance of $130,000 grant from King County
Conservation Futures (Faber-5 Minutes)*
Summary: A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Auburn, Washington
amending the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between King County and the City
of Auburn for open space acquisition projects and accepting a Conservation Futures
grant for $130,000.00 related to the Smith/Fenster Levee Setback Project.
C. Auburn Environmental Park Wetlands Trail and Associated Enhancements

Summary: Staff to provide an update on the Auburn Environmental Park wetlands
boardwalk project and request for Committee approval to forward an amendment to
Agreement for design services with AHBL, Inc. dated December 8, 2010 to the City
Council's January 18, 2011 consent agenda. The agreement covers design and
permitting services for the wetlands boardwalk trail and associated native plantings
in the Auburn Environmental Park.

B. Phase II, Code Update (Wagner/Dixon - 15 Minutes)*
Summary: Introductory discussion of the committee's topics, issues and
priorities to be subsequently used by staff in formulating a work program for
Phase II of the code update effort. The Phase I effort in 2009 focused on the
residential chapters of the zoning code and the subdivision code and the
phase II will be scoped to include other chapters.
C. Ordinance No. 6342 - Construction Sales Tax Exemption
(Snyder- 15 Minutes)*
Summary: Discussion of potential change in Auburn City Code to create an
exemption to construction related sales tax in certain commercial zones for a limited
period of time and limited class of business to provide an economic development
incentive.
D. Ordinance No. 6341 - Fee Deferrals (Snyder - 15 Minutes)*
Summary: Discussion of potential deferral of payment to later in the development
process of impact fees and system development charges for residential and non-
residential development to provide an economic development incentive.
