HomeMy WebLinkAboutOne Main Street Professional Plaza Owners Associaton s Security Camera Purchase and Installation Agreement This Agreement, dated December 15, 2010, between One Main Street. Professional Plaza Owners Association ("One Main") and the City of Auburn ("City") is for the recording of security camera video in the One Main Plaza building. Recitals: 1. One Main and the City are joint owners of the One Main Building. As co-owners and members of the Association, each will be responsible for certain common expenses related to the Building . 2. The parties agree that installation of a security camera system will be mutually beneficial. In order to avoid duplication, the parties agree that the City will provide networked video surveillance and management hardware and software including cameras, network cabling, switching equipment, and video server hardware & software for the security camera system. Agreement: In consideration of the mutual obligations contained in this Agreement, the parties agree as follows: 1. The City and One Main will each separately purchase and install security camera systems as described in Exhibit A to this Agreement. The parties agree to coordinate their purchase and installation to ensure that the systems are compatible, and that they are installed at the same time. 2. The parties agree to allow the installers access to each party's facilities, and to common areas or limited common areas that are controlled by that party 3. After installation, each party will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and replacement of its system components. 4. The City will allow One Main to connect the digital feeds from its security cameras to the City's NetEVS Video Management System. The City will record the feeds from the security cameras, and will retain those feeds for a period of 7 calendar days. Upon request from One Main, the City will provide copies of the feeds from One Main's cameras. 5. The security system has the capability to provide real-time monitoring. One Main shall not have access to real-time monitoring as of the effective date of the contract. If One Main wants access to real-time monitoring in the future, the City will provide access on the condition that One Main provides its own computer and associated network cabling to receive the feeds. Consideration: One Main agrees that the expense of providing system management and recording services is equal to the City's allocated contribution to the costs of purchasing, installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacement of One Main's security system, and One Main shall not assess any additional costs to the City for this security system.
