SECTlo~r L That the City Council of orhe City of Auburn desires to avail itself of the powers conferred by an act of the L.ec;iJ;;la.ture~o;C th,e state ~of, Uashington, enti tIed "An aot relating to city, town, county and regional plannin[ and the creation, organiza- tion, d'J.ties and povlers of planning cOIillJ.issions ," apprCJlled by the vovernor 0:( the >:>tate of ,'ashington, on Larch 11, 19;:'5, and pursuant to such desire does hereby creat(, as a part oi' the city government or said city, a Oity Planning cocrmission in and for The city of Auburn. SECTION 2. That the City Planning Comm~ssion hereby created shall consist of ~ members to be appoint ed by the I,iayor of The City of Auburn and confirmed by the City Council of said city, and that not mare than one-third of the number of such City Planning Commission shall be ex officio members by virtue ot office lleld in The City of Auburn; that the term of of lice for ex officio members in suoh cOIilluisbion shall oorres~ond to their respective tenures; and that the term of office for the first appointive mS'.Jlbers appointed. to such commission shall be designated from one to six years in such manner as to provide t:;at the fewest possible terms will expire in anyone year.
