THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF .AUBURN DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby oreated, as a part of the oity government of the City of Auburn, the offioe of street Superintendent. Suoh street superintendent shall be appointed by the Mayor; and he shall hold office for the term, and may be removed, as provided by the laws of the Stat e of Washington 30vering oities of the third Glass. SECTION 2. The street superintendent shall perform duties similar to taose heretofore performed by the Street For~n of the City at Auburn and, in addition thereto, shall " have general supervision and oontrol over the improving. re- pairing and oleaning of all streets and alleys in the City of Auburn, subjeot ouly to specifio direotions by the Mayor _H/V/J Ci ty Counoil.
