Park Add ='Vol 16, pg: 64- Lots.22 & 23. Section 2. That each of the lots and other property upon said assessment roll is hereby declared to --be especially benefited by said improvements in at least the amount charged against the same, and that the assessment appearing against each of the same is in proportion to the several assessments appearing on said roll. That all of the.property shall be assessed according to the lineal frontage of the property abutting said property to be improved and shall be assessed according to their proportionate share of the several assessments appearing upon the said assessment roll and there is.hereby levied and assessed against such lots and other property appearing upon said roll, the amount finally charged therein against the same; said amount, or any portion thereof, may be paid at any time within thirty (30) days from the date of the first publication of the Notice of Collection of said assessments without penalty, interest or cost; thereafter the sum remaining unpaid, if any, may be paid in ten (10) equal ------------------ Ordinance No. 3301 Page Two 8-9-78 annual installments, with interest on the whole unpaid sum at the rate of seven and one-half percent (7.5%) per annum. .Commencing with the first year after the last day, such assessments, or any portion thereof, may be paid without penalty, interest or cost (30 days from the date of the first publication of the Treasurer's Notice of Collection of Assessments) and each year thereafter, one of said installments, together with.the interest due, shall be collected as provided by law and the Ordinances of the City of Auburn, assessments or installments of assessments not paid when due shall be delinquent and there shall be added.to the same a penalty of five percent (5%) of the amount of the overdue installment and interest, and such penalty shall become. a part of the lien upon the property assessed. Section 3. All monies collected by the City Treasurer upon any of the assessments levied, as authorized herein, shall be paid into "Local Improvement District No. 290 Fund" created by Auburn City Ordinance No. 3186, and shall be used only for.the purpose of redeeming warrants and/or bonds drawn upon or issued against said fund. Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law. AND N.W., BETWEEN "C" STREET N.W.
