for the benefit of the following described property:
Maplewood Addition to Auburn, Volume 17, page 98,
records of King County, Block 1, Lots 34 through
37, the east 110 ft of Lots 48 through 50, Lots
51 through 65 and the South 20 feet of Lot 66.
Block 2, the South 20 feet of Lot 1, Lots 2 through
12, the West 155 ft Lots'13 through"16, the South
30 feet of Lot Wand Lots 18 through 31. Situate
in the City of Auburn, County of King, State of
Washington.
Section 2. That each of the lots and other property upon said assessment
roll is hereby declared to be especially benefited by said improvements in at
least the amount charged against the same, and that the assessment appearing
against each of the same is in proportion to the several assessments appearing on
said .roll. That all of the property shall be assessed according to the lineal
frontage of the property abutting said property.to be improved and shall be
assessed according to their proportionate share of the several assessments
appearing upon the said assessment roll and there is hereby levied and'assessed
against such lots and other property appearing upon said roll, the amount finally
charged therein against the same; said amount, or any portion thereof, may be paid
at any time within thirty (30) days from the date of the first publication of the
Notice of Collection of said assessments without penalty, interest or cost; there-
after the sum remaining unpaid, if any, may be paid in ten (10) equal annual
installments, with interest on the whole unpaid sum at the rate of seven and
one-half percent .(7.5%) per annum.
Commencing with the first year after the last day, such assessments, or
any portion thereof, may be paid without penalty, interest or cost (30 days from
the date of the first publication of the Treasurer's Notice of Collection of
Assessments) and each year thereafter, one of said installments, together with
the interest due, shall be collected`as.,provided by law and the Ordinances of
the City of Auburn, assessments or installments of assessments not paid when
due shall be delinquent and there shall -be added to the same a penalty of five
percent (5%).of.the amount�of the-overdue,installment and interest, and such
penalty shall become a part of the lien upon the property assessed.

Section 3. All monies collected by the City Treasurer upon any of
the assessments levied, as authorized herein, shall be paid into "Local
Improvement District No. 292 Fund" created by Ordinance No. 3224, and shall
be used only for the purpose of redeeming warrants and/or bonds drawn upon
or issued against said fund.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as
provided by law.

of the City of Auburn, a Municipal Corporation and Code City, situate in
the County of King, State of Washington, do hereby certify that the fore-
going is a full, true and correct copy of Ordinance No. 3310 of the
ordinances of the City of Auburn, entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENTS AND
ASSESSMENT ROLL OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 292, WHICH DISTRICT
HAS BEEN CREATED AND ESTABLISHED PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN
8 INCH CAST IRON WATER MAIN, FIRE HYDRANTS AND NEW WATER SERVICES ON
"I" STREET NORTHEAST BETWEEN 22ND AND 26TH STREETS NORTHEAST, INSIDE THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF AUBURN; AS PROVIDED BY, ORDINANCE N0,
3224, OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, AND LEVYING AND ASSESSING THE AMOUNT
THEREOF AGAINST THE SEVERAL LOTS, TRACTS, PARCELS OF LAND AND OTHER
PROPERTY UPON SAID ROLL.
I further certify that said Ordinance No. _3310- was duly passed by
the Council and approved by the Mayor of the said City of Auburn and
published as provided by law in the Auburn Globe News, a weekly newspaper
published in the City of Auburn, and of general circulation therein, on
