HomeMy WebLinkAbout43691 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 ORDINANCE NO. 4 3 6 9 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON AMENDING SECTION 15.14.020 ENTITLED "AMENDMENTS" CONTAINED IN CHAPTER 15.14 ENTITLED "UNIFORM ADMINISTRATIVE CODE" AND AMENDING SECTION 204 OF THE "UNIFORM ADMINISTRATIVE CODE. WHEREAS, the City of Auburn desires to amend Auburn City Code Section 15.14.020 and Section 204 of the Uniform Administrative Codes; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. PURPOSE. The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Auburn City Code Section 15.14.020 entitled "Amendments" contained in Chapter 15.14 entitled "Uniform Administrative Code" and Section 204 of the Uniform Administrative Code. Section 2. AMENDMENT. Auburn City Code Section 15.14.020 contained in Chapter 15.14 entitled "Uniform Administrative Code" is hereby amended as follows: 15.14.020 Amendments. Table 3-A - Add Item 5, Mobile Home Placement Fees: "Placement of Mobile Homes "(a) Private Lot........... $ 100.00* "(b) Mobile Home Park......... 60.00 *Includes decks, awnings and foundation facia "Temporary Residence During Construction - $ 10.00 "If a Building Permit has been issued for construction of a single family dwelling, a Temporary On -Site Permit to use a mobile home as a temporary residence during construction may be ------------------- Ordinance No. 4369 Page 1 August 15, 1990 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 issued for a six (6)-month period and may be renewed. Water and sanitary facilities will be required for the temporary residence. "Renewal of Temporary Residence During Construction - $10.00 "Temporary Caretaker's Quarters - $100.00 "Mobile homes may be used on a temporary basis for six (6) months at construction projects. All permits for temporary uses must have an approved sewage disposal system, water supply and electrical connection. A $300.00 Performance Bond, refundable upon termination of the temporary caretaker's quarters, is required and must be approved by the Director of Public Works. This temporary use may be renewed. "Renewal Fee for Temporary Caretaker's Quarters - $100.00 Table 30A - Add Item 6, Housing Compliance Inspections: "Housing Compliance Fees shall be as follows: "Single Family $25.00 "Duplex, Apartments, Condominiums, etc 25.00 first unit 10.00 each additional unit" Table 3-A - Add Item 7, Moving Buildings: "Moving Buildings on Public Right of Ways ....... $50.00" Table 3-B - delete in its entirety. Table 3-D - delete Items 4 and 5 concerning cesspools and private sewage systems Section 301(a), Permits Required - Add Item 1, Mobile Home Placement: "Before mobile home placement in mobile home courts or when placed on private lots, one shall first obtain a separate permit for placement. Mobile homes placed on private lots shall comply with the Auburn zoning ordinance Section 18.48. All mobile homes shall be securely fastened to the ground as outlined in the National Fire Code." NFPA 501(c). Section 3. AMENDMENT. Appeal and Appeal Procedures: The appeal and appeal procedures for this section shall be the same appeal and appeal procedures as those adopted for the Uniform Building Code in Auburn City Code Subsection 15.08.010(A)(1) and are hereby incorporated herein and adopted by reference as if fully set forth herein. Section 4. CONSTITUTIONALITY OR INVALIDITY. If any subsection, clause or phrase of Section 15.14.020 or UAC Section 204 as adopted herein is for any reason held to be ------------------- Ordinance No. 4369 Page 3 August 15, 1990 11 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 171 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 invalid or unconstitutional, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of the remaining portions of the sections, it being hereby expressly declared that each section, subsection, sentence, clause and phrase hereof would have been prepared, proposed, adopted and approved and ratified irrespective of the fact that any one or more section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase be declared invalid or unconstitutional. Section 5. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this legislation. Section 6.
