The Washington State Library Commission voted on Friday, March 9, 1990 to award $56,260 in Library Services and Construction Act funds for the project, SHARING HEALTH INFORMATION RESOURCES IN SOUTH-EAST KING COUNTY. The grant request has been increased by $150 to cover travel costs for one representative from each participating library to attend an orientation session. This orientation session is designed to provide basic information on project management and to facilitate the financial and narrative reporting requirements of the Library Services and Construction Act. It is very important that a representative from each participating library attend this session. Notice of the date, time and location of the orientation session will be sent from the Library Planning and Development Division. The Washington State Library will be funding your grant on a reimbursement basis; i.e. funds will be awarded upon receipt of a voucher with supporting evidence of expenditures made or materials/equipment received. Reimbursement can be made monthly or quarterly. Due to State Library audit requirements, projects which offer in -kind contributions in the budget of their project proposal will be required to report on those in -kind costs. State Library policy calls for a 5% retainage of grant funds until the final reports of the project have been received and accepted. All necessary claiming and reporting forms and details on all reporting procedures will be presented at the orientation session. The grant number that has been assigned to this project is 90-CD-03.
