REGISTRATION OF A MARK IN WASHINGTON STATE Registration of a mark does not create property rights, it is use of the mark which establishes that fact. The trademark filing provides public notice that you believe you are the only person ("person" includes a corporation or partnership) who has a right to use the mark in connection with those goods or services listed on the application. However, the registration of a trademark is helpful in providing proof of date of first use. ssf 71 (11/87 ) / CER'PIFIOATF7 RF,GISTRATION OP TRADEMARK i9930 (Departmental Use Only) .FILE #: 3 ISSUE DATE: 07/11/1990 EXPIRATION DATE: 07/11/2000 (1) Name of Registrant: CITY OF AUBURN (a) If partnership, names of partners: (b) If corporation, state of incorp- oration: A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON (2) Business address of Registrant: CITY OF AUBURN 25 WEST MAIN AUBURN WA 98001 (3) Description of the trademark exactly as it is registered and as shown in the attached specimen: 1891 AUBURN CENTENNIAL 1991 AND DESIGN DEPICTING MOUNT RAINER AND WHITE RIVER, AND WHITE RIVER VALLEY (4) The single classification number which best describes the goods or services this trademark is used with: 41 (5) The actual goods or services with which the trademark is used are: ENTERTAINMENT AND BUSINESS ACTIVITIES, CLOTHING, SOUVENIRS, SIGNAGE, ADVERTISEMENTS, BANNERS, PUBLICATIONS, EXHIBITS AND DISPLAYS, EVENTS EQUIPMENT, VEHICLES, FLAGS, BANNERS, FLOATS, AND DOCUMENTS.
