WASHINGTON PHA8E II MUNICIPAL STORMWATER PERMIT ANNUAL REPORT FOR 2017 TO THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY WHEREAS, the Washington State Department df Ecology issues a Nafional Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Western Washington Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit that regulates the discharge of stormwater from municipal stormwater systems; and WHEREAS, the City operates a municipal stormwater system and is regulated under 4he Na4ional Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Westem Washington Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit; and WHEREAS, fhe National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Western Washington Phase II Municipal Stormwater Pertnit requires development and implementation of a Stormwater Management Program Plan; and WHEREAS, the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Western Washington Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit require.s the submittal of the Stormwater Management Program plan to the Washington State Department of Ecology. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES as follows: Resolution No. 5343 January 19, 2018 Page 1 Section 7. The Stormwater Management Program Plan is approved for implementation in the City of Aubum in substan4ial conformity wi4h the agreement attached hereto, marked as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this reference. Section 2. The Mayor is autho�ized to implement such ofher administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation, including submitting a copy of the Stormwater Management Program Plan to the Washington State Department of Ecology.
