Ednetics Project Scope of Work
Executive Summary
Ednetics will configure and install 6 new Cisco Catalyst 9500 fiber aggregation switches for City of Auburn.
These switches will be implemented in a distributed routing ring topology. VLAN and IP Schema design willbe included in this project. These switches will provide up to 25 Gigabit Ethernet distribution to access layer
switching. All work is to be performed during a scheduled weekday outage; any weekend work is subject toa change order. Ednetics will provide project management throughout the project including scheduling and
coordination.
Customer Responsibilities
Planning
•Provide any necessary wiring including cable testing, tracing, labeling, and new cabling.
•Ensure availability of necessary electrical facilities including power outlets, Uninterrupted Power
Supplies, etc, able to support incoming hardware.
•Provide any necessary environmental facilities including air conditioning, proper ventilation, etc..
•Ensure availability of necessary racks and rack space for new project equipment.
•Complete any Ednetics-provided customer information templates.
•Provide a technical resource for any necessary coordination of remote and on-site planning,
installation, configuration, and testing during the project.
•Provide Ednetics with a fully functional IPSEC remote access VPN into the network for the life of the
project and any subsequent support contracts.
•Consent to a Materials Staging Agreement allowing Ednetics to receive project-related equipment for
staging at Ednetics' facilities.
•Provide an authorized weekday outage window to perform the installation of equipment
•Provide any available network diagrams/documentation to assist in configuration of the
infrastructure.
Staging
•Provide desired credentials for administrative login and management of project equipment.
•Associate/Allow Ednetics profiles access to manufacturer licensing and contract portals
Implementation
•Coordinate with third party regarding project implementation, such as Internet Service Provider.
Testing and Training

Executive Summary
Ednetics will configure and install 2 new Cisco Nexus 93180-YC data center switches to replace end of life
equipment for City of Auburn. The Nexus switches will be configured in a vPC pair for redundancy. Edneticswill also install 2 Catalyst 9300 switches to support 1 gigabit ethernet copper connections in the data center.
All work is to be performed during a scheduled weekday outage; any weekend work is subject to a changeorder. Ednetics will provide project management throughout the project including scheduling and
coordination.
Customer Responsibilities
Planning
•Provide any necessary wiring including cable testing, tracing, labeling, and new cabling.
•Ensure availability of necessary electrical facilities including power outlets, Uninterrupted Power
Supplies, etc, able to support incoming hardware.
•Provide any necessary environmental facilities including air conditioning, proper ventilation, etc..
•Ensure availability of necessary racks and rack space for new project equipment.
•Complete any Ednetics-provided customer information templates.
•Provide a technical resource for any necessary coordination of remote and on-site planning,
installation, configuration, and testing during the project.
•Provide Ednetics with a fully functional IPSEC remote access VPN into the network for the life of the
project and any subsequent support contracts.
•Consent to a Materials Staging Agreement allowing Ednetics to receive project-related equipment for
staging at Ednetics' facilities.
•Provide an authorized weekday outage window to perform the installation of equipment
•Provide any available network diagrams/documentation to assist in configuration of the
infrastructure.
