Mr. Rob Roscoe, Risk Manager
City of Auburn
25 W. Main Street
Auburn, WA 98001
Dear Mr. Roscoe,
City of Auburn
APR 2 3 2011
Human Resources Dept.
As agreed in the Joint Parking Development Agreement and Option to Purchase dated March
8, 2011, KCLS is requesting that the City remit their portion of the purchase cost totaling
$262,500.
As outlined in the agreement, I have enclosed the purchase and sale agreement and the
closing instructions for the Auburn Way South property which was recently purchased by
KCLS. The March agreement called for sending the funds to escrow but since we have
completed the acquisition, it is no longer our preference. We ask that the funds be remitted
directly to KCLS and to my attention.
In addition,
I understand that the plans for the
additional
parking were
approved and were
included in
the public bid package. I included
the survey
prepared for
us, too.
We appreciate the cooperation and hard thinking that City staff contributed to the successful
acquisition and design of the additional parking. Thank you for keeping the agreements
working through the approval process.
Let me know if there are any concerns or questions.
Best Regards,
Kay J rn?n
