Dear Dick:
WRAF -
This letter is a follow up to our conversation of several months ago regarding the
responsibilities for maintenance of the new Auburn Library building and grounds.
KCLS will be responsible for maintaining the building systems including but not limited
to communications, security, fire alann, plumbing, mechanical and electrical. We would
allo be responsible for maintaining the exterior of the building such as painting, roof,
cleaning of gutters and the windows.
The City of Auburn will be responsible for maintaining the growlds including
landscaping and irrigation, stone drainage, sanitary sewer and water lines. In addition,
the City of Auburn would be responsible for maintaining the parking lot and it's
amenities such as the parking lot lighting, asphalt paving, striping and bioswale.
Please review this agreement and let me know if this is acceptable. We are anticipating a
