Commission prior to the meeting to the commission. Colson asked if there were
any revisions or changes to the code. Martinson responded that she did not

that it was inappropriate for the commission to discuss with Councilmembers or
the Mayor regarding the salaries and the decisions made by the Independent
Salary Commission.

Beyersdorf stated that he had watched the video and sent an email to Tamie
Bothell, Executive Assistant to the Mayor, stating so. All of the commissioners
replied that they had also watched the video prior to the meeting. Martinson
stated that the City Clerk had requested that the training was presented at the
meeting and facilitated during the meeting so that it was recorded. However, the
commissioners all stated that they had already watched the training video and
would send an email with the date to the City Clerk stating that they had taken
the training independently. Martinson said she would verify with the City Clerk
that this was acceptable.
