Given the results of the scoring and discussion of the merits of each application, it was determined to award full requested funding of $2,000 to each of the following applicants under the condition that they complete the entire scope of work as outlined in their project proposal: Anna Davidson’s “American Muslim” photography portrait and community engagement project, the International Farmer's Market’s annual free performing arts presentations, the Auburn Symphony Orchestra’s “Link Up” program, artist Christy Caravaglio’s “Starburst” yarn installation public art project, Evergreen City Ballet’s annual performance of the Nutcracker, the Interurban Center for the Arts’s “Art Inspired Art” collaborative program with Auburn Symphony Orchestra, Pacific Ballroom Dance’s “Explore Dance” free workshop series, and the White River Valley Museum’s popular free LUSIO art festival at the Mary Olson Farm. The only project application that did not receive funding was that from artist Jose Trejo Maya, whose application did not provide enough information about planning details and the public impact of his project in Auburn. b.
